Craneman Ensemble:

Craneman, a project of Dwight Loop , Bay Area ambient electronic composer/performer, is a mixture of trance-ambient groove, chants and electronic textures.

This live debut concert at Cobalt Sun opening for SOM'MA

Dwight Loop (Sausalito) has been performing electronic music since the late 70s in both solo and ensemble settings. Beginning his electronic music career in New Mexico, where he performed solo electronic music concerts and formed groups Ultratribe, Circuits and Dream Jungle, Loop also was known for his new and experimental music public radio show on KUNM-FM (Albuquerque) and KSFR-FM "Earwaves" for nearly 20 years.

In California for the past seven years, Loop has been a part of Tropozone and Tone Pharoah ambient trance bands as well performing his own solo electronic music concerts. His most recent CD is "Mystery's River" on Third Ear. Currently, he is Music Director at Cobalt Sun Gallery, and curator of the "Synapse" Experiential Art Festival in May 2005 and collaborator with Lynn Augstein on various light and sound installations.

Take 101 to Marin City/Sausalito Exit, Get off exit. This will loop around and take you right onto Bridgeway, the first stop light. Stay on Bridgeway two more lights, until Coloma St. Turn Left on Coloma St. at light. Go down, looking on right side for warehouse building, last one on right before road T's into Gate Five Road. Look for sign on door for Cobalt Sun
